We’re hiring Overnight Press Operators for our premier client who specializes in high-quality printing and converting envelopes in Richmond, VA. As an Overnight Pressman, you will print envelopes that meet company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime.

Job Title: Overnight Press Operator

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour + OT with Weekly Pay

Schedule (Days and Time): Monday–Sunday | 7:00pm-7:00am

12hrs shifts | days off by calendar

Our Press Operators will:

Make ready, operate, and maintain sheet-fed offset printing presses.

Set up and adjust press for job runs to meet specifications. 

Check product quality against sample and established quality standards and make corrections as necessary.

Perform press repairs, maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning.

Follow pressroom procedures for control sheets, charging time & material, load tags, FSC stock, and samples.

Maintain acceptable productivity standards to minimize raw material waste. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 6 months of experience as a Machine Operator or related.

Minimum 1 year of experience operating large machines or equipment.

Ability to work with a high level of precision and efficiency.

Ability to perform essential work functions (i.e., stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift) for long periods.

Ability to pass a background test.
